Body painting is not always classy but during the 2010 Spring/Summer Fashion Weeks it was very nice and chic ! The designers have started a new runway trend. Chanel used it in all of his models for his spring 2010 barn show at Paris in such a beautiful way. The models had painted jewelry all over them, in their legs classic Chanel pearl and flowers, on their arms, small bracelets all in soft black with shades and shine. It must have taken a very long time to draw it !
Another designer who used this trend was Rodarte for his spring 2010 collection during the New York Fashion Week. He used it in a rougher style. Every model had her arms painted with makeup to appear like tribal tattoos. Incorporating a gothic, tribal look, the designs were very thick and dark, full of spiral circles and unknown symbols.
